Theme song and outro
Hello Internet,
You may have noticed that the opening theme is an incredibly distorted version of "Once I caught a Fish Alive", heavily distorted and sped up at different rates on each episode.
The origin of this was actually one of my Daughter's story books, it has slightly dying batteries and what used to the cheerful song about counting and fish, became a distorted nightmare fuel. I decided to record it and come up with a use later, when I started sketching out the show I figured that I would go with the Mankind (from them wrestlings) style of intro and outro. Mankind was one of the few wrestlers to have a different intro and outro, a distorted fragmented theme for entering and a calm peace for leaving the ring (well when he won).
For the show I went with the distorted intro theme I hashed together and the cheerful cherpy outro, to contrast the odd nature of the show in the middle.
I think I thought about that a bit too much.
