Some bits and bobs about it, I filmed the seat stuff in one session in an evening and had about 3 recording sessions for the voice over bits, as a result the voice over parts have an inconsistanty to them which is slightly irksome. For the next video I need to get better at sticking to the script for the voice over parts, if I can get it done in one session it should result in a more consistant edit later.
One of the funny things about the recording of this episode was Miko kept leaping around everywhere, hence the looking over every-now-and-then at something out of shot, plus the out-take at the end, she really does love hopping up at the worst possible time, or best possible time if you change perspectives.
Whilst I come across as quite negative about Mario Kart Tour, I do enjoy some elements of it, I've been playing it for quite a few weeks but have gotten to the point where I'm wondering what is it I enjoy about it, the graphics are nice, soundtrack is typical Mario Kart fare so that's nice, overall it's just nice... and that is a bit of a problem, I'm not clamouring back into it as once you hit a bit of a wall with rankings, your left with just leveling up all the random stuff they make you level up which results in nothing much happening. It's a bit like cheap vanilla ice cream, it's alright but you're thinking about the better Ice Cream at the back of the freezer whilst you're eating it.
