 Hello Internet,

Latest episode is here - https://youtu.be/xNT7wgUW754

Bit more of an observation episode, trying to explain why people hold their phones in such an odd manner, I really don't get why people do it as surely it's not a great experiance for either party to use a phone like that.

If it's in a speaker phone setting it's boosting the input from the microphone and getting mroe background noise, making it harder to make out what is actualyl being said, along with having to constantly move it back and forth between ear and mouth rather than covering both halfs at once against your head.

Although I say in the video I don't know, I kinda lean towards the reality TV option more, as we know that media innoculation theory can result in some odd behaviours, if they see people doing it on the telly/streaming service then they're more likely to emulate it not knowing it's a trick for the audiences sake.

I've seen more people doing this and in situations where it doesn't really need it, such as standing in a park or walking down a road. It's just one of those things that comes across as inefficent and odd, but people can do what they want with their phones at the end of the day.

Another episode which has more VO than chair stuff, I did record more chair bits but they went unused as I didn't go all in with the Star Trek comparison. The new style of credits introduced in the previous episode are quite helpful as they allow those link bits for YouTube and won't look werid if I move them to another site.

Cheers for reading, have a great day!
