10 Subs Special | Mr. Matt Internet Video Programme

 Hello Internet,

So I made a bit of a weird video to celebrate getting to 10 Subs, it's obviously a joke video as well... see for yourself - https://youtu.be/Si5hW2nyrLI

I'm really quite happy I've gotten up to 10, well 11 now, as I thought I would get 1 or 2. Videos are hovering around 20 views so that's nice as well.

So that thing I'm holding up that is supposed to be one of those YouTubes plaques that popular channels have in the backgrounds, I just thought I would try and make it look like something dripping and being quite grim, along with the state of the 'letter' that came with it, to create a rather slapdash and messed up feel to it all, basically like my content thus far!

Cats were on one whilst filming as well, they kept rushing about the front room hence the looks over to see what they were doing, was really worried they were going to take out the microphone lead or phone.

Got the chair chatting done in 1 take with only 1 botch, which I'm quite pleased about, along with the editing that took about 40 minutes.I only had to reshoot one thing which was the letter, it initially was done in orange crayon but when viewing the footage during editing it was near impossible to see the text, so I redid it in purple felt-tip and reshot, it's the reason the PS bit is slightly different (by one word, but it is still irksome).

Bloody delighted that I got the tracking working so the censorship of the plaque worked, will have to make use of the tracking feature in future again for some of the graphics as I have a few ideas of things I want to do.

I have a few ideas for some future videos, one of which is going to be interesting as I'm going to have to rely on someone else providing some footage, from my experiance on past projects working with other people can be rather difficult when they aren't in the same location and I'm not a fan of badgering people, so that video might take a long while to come out (or it might be coming soon, I hope it's soon!)

Theme song and outro

 Hello Internet,

You may have noticed that the opening theme is an incredibly distorted version of "Once I caught a Fish Alive", heavily distorted and sped up at different rates on each episode.

The origin of this was actually one of my Daughter's story books, it has slightly dying batteries and what used to the cheerful song about counting and fish, became a distorted nightmare fuel. I decided to record it and come up with a use later, when I started sketching out the show I figured that I would go with the Mankind (from them wrestlings) style of intro and outro. Mankind was one of the few wrestlers to have a different intro and outro, a distorted fragmented theme for entering and a calm peace for leaving the ring (well when he won). 

For the show I went with the distorted intro theme I hashed together and the cheerful cherpy outro, to contrast the odd nature of the show in the middle. 

I think I thought about that a bit too much.
